Coating

The coating of substrates such as films, breathable membranes and textiles is an area of expertise to which we have dedicated ourselves in all its depth for many years. In doing so, we have various options at our disposal.

The possibility of direct coating means that materials can be fed directly to the film at the extrusion line. Precise regulation of the material feed and control of web tension also makes it possible to coat sensitive and elastic materials such as velour, knitted fabrics, nonwovens, other non-wovens and thin films. Coating in direct extrusion saves subsequent work steps and thus time and costs. Here, too, the adhesion result can be optimised by a corona pre-treatment.

A wide range of possibilities

PSA adhesive systems

Based on the rotary screen printing coating, many of our films can be equipped with a PSA adhesive system (pressure sensitive adhesives). Roller application is also possible over the entire surface or in spots.

Transfer coating

Breathable membranes can also be coated with a transfer coating using a hot melt adhesive. Due to the punctiform roller application, a large part of the usual breathability is retained. The experience with different raw materials, resulting from the work with a variety of different hot-melt adhesives, gives us all the freedom to focus on the customer's requirements (washability, cleaning resistance, wearing comfort, etc.).

Do you have a material that you would like to have coated according to the highest quality guidelines? We also act as a service provider and coat your materials on a contract basis.
