R+T Shanghai Trade Fair

The R+T Trade Fair is the leading Asian trade fair for roller shutters, doors, windows and sun protection and takes place every year at the Shanghai New International Expo Center in China.

Gerlinger Industries has achieved an important strategic success with its participation at R+T Shanghai in being the global leader in the development and production of thermoplastic sweatbands and technical adhesive tapes for sun protection textiles. In addition to many trade visitors from China, visitors from the USA and Australia also showed keen interest in our special adhesives for textile sun protection systems.

Numerous positive properties ensure that our special tapes and adhesives work better than conventional adhesives, especially with difficult coatings. In addition to weathering and UV resistance, they score points with a higher tear strength of the adhesive joint than with sewn cloths/awnings.

The welding tapes for sun protection textiles and awnings from Gerlinger Industries can be processed with all common technologies, such as hot air, high frequency, ultrasound, impulse and hot wedge.
